Kristin Cavallari, former star of Laguna Beach (this interview was conducted before she became the star of The Hills), joined The Extreme Scene with special guest Bron Heussenstamm on February 3rd, 2008 to talk about dealing with fame, how to stay looking ridiculously hot, and trying to stay humble.
Nearly nine months after KNBR unexpectedly, and stupidly, dropped The Extreme Scene from their programming lineup, their crack staff continues to remind everyone that incompetence runs rampant they're on top of things. On their ‘Contact Us’ page (which is directly linked to the main page), lo and behold The Extreme Scene is listed as a contact. I'll tell you what I've been up to, a whole lot of everything. Doing three times as much & getting half the pay. Sound familiar? Tuesday Wednesday through Friday evening, from 10 pm through Midnight on XTRA 860 AM, I’ll be filling in as host of The Chris Townsend Show.
When one thinks of Great Whites Sharks breaching the water, one normally references such frightful images of the Great Whites that reside in the waters off South Africa. Aggressive, mean Great Whites that breach the water to catch seals and other prey. Either one of said Great Whites decided to meander all the way to the Pacific Ocean waters off the coast of Santa Monica, CA, or said Great Whites are evolving.

After getting robbed (in this humble writer's opinion) in the quarters of the Quiksilver Pro France, Kelly Slater decided to play in a celebrity pro-am golf tournament called the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship, held annually at The Old Course in St. Andrews, Scotland. Slater helped his teammate Simon Dyson finish first, with their team finishing third overall.
