I  won the Waterville, NH Burton AM Open Slopestyle and got a spot for the US Open!!! (YaY...).  Qualifiers for the US Open women's slope was last week & I qualified THIRDDDDDD... 52 girls were on the rider list, about 20 didn't show bc the coarse was pretty gnarly... so I was PUMPED! They only took 5 girls to Semi's, so 3rd was Sawwweeeet!

So Semi's were Sunday, and I got 9th out of 21 girls... they only took 8 so I didn't make finals - but I would say 9th place at my first Burton US Open is pretty good. I am VERY happy with the results...! My first run was my safety run & I nailed it... REALLY happy bc my personal goal was to spin these jumps - they are by far the biggest jumps I've hit, let alone spin... Almost all of us fell on our 2nd runs (they ran it girl, guy, girl, guy) so by the time we went again speed changed & I exploded on the third jump lol =). I definitely would have been in finals if I landed it =)
