Would You Watch This Movie?

Revenge Movie Poster.jpg

It's easy to forget that funnyman Tom Green's roots originate in skateboarding.  It isn't hard to tell between his lanky frame, goofy personality, his attempts at becoming a white rapper, and the fact that he skates in a lot of his films and clips.  With Jackass member Dave England at his side, the two C-listers released a straight-to-DVD movie called Revenge of the Boarding School Dropouts.

Bucky Lasek Wins Vans Pro-tec Pool Party

Bucky Lasek Pool Party Win.jpg

With the economy still neck-deep in a global recession, there has been an outburst of empty swimming pools due to foreclosed homes and people not being able to afford the upkeep of maintaining a pool.  So naturally, skateboarding has been returning to its original roots, invading empty pools and reminding people that it’s still the core venue in skateboarding.  It was no surprise then that the Vans Pro-tec Pool Party was a huge hit, with the ageless wonder Bucky Lasek winning the main event.

Mantangled Monday: Cactus Edition

Cactus 3.jpg

Or is it Cacti?  Always one of the more confusing pluralities, whatever.  Mondays suck, you’re miserable right now, so what better way to make yourself feel better than by watching others in excruciating pain.  This is the first ever image-only edition of Mantagled Monday, but it’s well worth it.  An ATV driver decides to become close friends with a cactus.  The hilarity ensues.

Metal Mulisha Put on a Show for the Marines

Metal Mulisha Oceanside.jpg

Some would say that the only blemish on the California Coast south of LA is the overabundance of military bases and installations, creating a weird mix of surf culture and army brats who rarely mix.  Enter the Metal Mulisha, who decided to show support for local Marine Corps troops by putting on a show at Camp Pendleton near Oceanside, Calif.

A Frenchy Pulls the First Real MotoX Frontflip

Charles Pages.jpg

Charles Pagès, half of the Pagès Brothers MotoX team, succeeded where Jim DeChamp failed.  Unlike DeChamp, who used a specially modified Suzuki RM125 to land the first-ever frontflip at last summer's Disney X Games, Pagès used a standard RM250 to pull off the first truly successful frontflip.  And thanks to the folks over at Disney's action sports site, there is video evidence to prove it.

The Price is Right for Flow

Flow Price is Right.jpg

The price ain't wrong for Flow Snowboarding.  For the second straight week, Drew Carey's The Price is Right is once again gracing the front page of TheExtremeScene.com.  This time, it's because the folks over at Flow Snowboarding are going to have some of their products on the Wednesday, May 20th show.

Mantangled Monday: Super Mario Edition

skateboarder_wipeout_ouch.jpg

It's beyond the obvious: God created Mondays to remind us how beautiful Fridays and Saturdays are.  Mondays belong to Lucifer, and once a week we suffer through the pain.  Since misery loves company, what better way to get through this horrendous day than to watch some poor schmuck dream of skateboarding glory, only to fall though a roof in a painful and embarrassing fashion.

Leanne Pelosi, We Want You

Leanne Pelosi Rockstar.jpg

Danny Kass' Grenade Games went off a couple of weeks back up in Whistler, B.C., and in the midst of all the drunken revelry came two notes worthy of mention: Canadian Craig Beaulius won the actual event and took home $10,001, and Leanne Pelosi is now numero uno on our most wanted list

A Bunch of Random Shit

belly button penis.jpg

I came across so many gems in the matter of minutes, that I had to lump them all together and create the most random, off-topic blog post in this site's history.  Click the 'Read more' button to see a belly button penis, some guy claim to be a gynecologist and place a winning bid of $69 on The Price is Right, and a sleepwalking dog.

Shaun White Snowboarding Sells Over 3,000,000 Copies

SW SB.jpg

Has anyone out there had the chance to play the Shaun White Snowboarding video game? I remember hearing about it a while ago, but usually when I don't hear people talking about a game, it isn't all that good. Which is why I was rather surprised when our boy Tracy Anderson revealed that Shaun White Snowboarding has sold over three million copies.
